Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: Earth
Event Time: 2023-11-30T23:29Z ( DSCOVR: PLASMAG )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
DSCOVR: PLASMAG
ACE: SWEPAM
ACE: MAG
Activity ID: 2023-11-30T23:29:00-IPS-001 (version 3)
Quality of ICME Signature: 2 (clear signatures)
Note: Arrival signature is characterized by a sudden amplification of magnetic field from 4 nT to just under 15nT, with Bz component reaching -13nT and staying mostly negative for a number of hours. The increase in magentic field is accompanied by a sharp jump in ion density to over 20 particles/cc and of solar wind speed from 320 km/s to 450 km/s.
